High Energy Trail Mix

Dr. D.’s High Energy Snack Mix

½ cup raw walnuts

½ cup raw pecans

½ cup raw almonds sliced or whole

½ cup raw sunflower/hemp/pumpkin seeds

  • choose nuts according to blood type

¼ cup dried chopped unsweetened pineapple

¼ cup dried chopped apricots

¼ cup dried chopped apples

¼ cup dried chopped cherries

¼ cup dried shredded coconut

  • use unsulfured dried fruits

Mix together in large bowl, then put ½ cup into small zip lock baggies for single servings to grab and go. Keep refrigerated so the nuts and seeds do not go rancid.

Remember, High Energy means High Calories – keep your serving sizes measured so you don’t over do it!
